The Show is always on the bank holiday Saturday in August.

The times are 9am until 5pm. The judging of cattle, shires and donkeys start approx 10am show jumping/equestrian from 8am.  Please check with the individual sections for revised times.

Yes dogs on lead are welcome. Please note dogs are not allowed in the small livestock and poultry marquee or the food market.

Yes the £5 showground parking fee applies.  Please note that Poynton Show is in a field and access is difficult.  It can be muddy too!

Normal entrance fees apply. Please note that the event is held on a field and weather will affect mobility around the showground. Accessible toilets are provided

Your vp badges will be sent to you. Orders placed Wednesday 23rd onwards will receive an email to print and produce on show day.

Print off your online ticket and bring it to the show, or show the QR code on your phone to the gates.

From 8am – 9pm Friday and from 5.30am until 9am on Saturday, no movement of vehicles after that.

Poynton is situated  11 miles south-southeast of Manchester, 7 miles north of Macclesfield, and 5 miles south of Stockport.

Getting There

Poynton Show ground is a short, level walk from Poynton Town centre or a 10 minute walk from Poynton Rail Station

Accommodation

There are a variety of independent B&Bs and hotels in Poynton, as well as a Travel Lodge a short drive from the showground.
